A few textures with color schemes I'm interested in

For my texture/pattern studies I'm using three color schemes: Warm analagous (Y-YO-O), Split complementary (Y-RV-BV), and neutrals.

I'm not sure what the difference is between neutrals that are created from the complementary color vs. neutrals created from adding grey, or if there even is a difference. hmm.
